Improves the daily procedures
Symfoni reached an agreement with Region Midtjylland concerning a document management system. The delivery includes analysis, project management, a software platform delivered as a web service, training of employees and daily operations of the system.
The delivery is the foundation for Regions Midtjylland’s project for quality management at the regions 7 hospitals and approx. 250 departments. The 30,000 employees at the region’s hospitals use the system to document, standardize, approve and improve the daily procedures. Thereby, the region can ensure that all patients receive the same high quality treatment, irrespective of which hospital they are treated at. Furthermore, employees can always find the correct procedure, that the procedure is documented and that it is qualified by staff with expert knowledge.

From the beginning of the process Symfoni provided advice concerning the technological platform and has since worked for two years with Region Midtjylland on the final stages of the development, implementation and operation of the solution. It is this solution which now continues on a permanent basis. Our employees always have access to the right information. Softwares as a Service
The solution operates as software-as-a-service. This means that Symfoni runs the solution and that the region’s employees simply log on to the system via a web browser.
This obviously means much less IT administration for Region Midtjylland, while at the same time making it easier for Symfoni to keep the system updated. All 30,000 employees are potential users of the system with different levels of rights to create, modify and approve documents. In addition, most of the documentation can be seen by all citizens through the region’s website.
